  • Sumter County School Volunteer application

    This is where you can read about and apply to be a Sumter County Schools Volunteer. When approved, your application is good for 3 years. All adults who wish to volunteer for anything at South Sumter High School must be an approved volunteer. 

  • Tate Music and Repair

    This is the store that does all of our repairs. If you ever need a repair done on your instrument, call them and set up a pick-up at our school. He visits on Thursdays. They also sell instrument supplies. Reeds, valve oil, slide grease etc. 

  • Bandmate Chromatic Tuner for Android or Apple Phones Tablets

    This is where you can find out and apply for volunteering at Sumter County Schools. When approved, your application is good for 3 years. If you would like to help out with the music program, you must be an approved volunteer.

Mr. Cory Lowery

I'm from Orlando, Florida. I graduated from West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Florida in 1994. I attended and graduated from Stetson University between 1995 and 1999. I taught at South Lake High School from 2000 to 2003. I started at South Sumter Middle School in 2003 and in 2023 I started at South Sumter High School.
