Stay in the Know: Instant vs. Digest Notifications on ParentSquare!

Hello Sumter County School District Families,đź‘‹

Did you know ParentSquare offers two ways to receive updates from your school?

🔔 Instant Notifications
Get messages as soon as they're sent—perfect for time-sensitive updates like schedule changes, event reminders, or emergencies.

📬 Digest Notifications
Prefer fewer pings? You’ll get a summary of all messages once a day, usually in the evening.

💡 Why This Matters:
Choosing Instant ensures you never miss important announcements, especially those that affect your day. From school closures to last-minute event changes, staying informed helps everyone—students, parents, and staff—stay prepared.

✅ Make Sure You’re Receiving All Notifications!

Check your ParentSquare settings to confirm you’re subscribed to all your schools and receiving messages the way that works best for you.
🔧 To Update Your Settings:
  1. Go to your ParentSquare account.
  2. Click your name in the top right corner.
  3. Select My Account > Notification Settings.
  4. Choose Instant or Digest for each method (email, text, app).

Let’s stay connected and informed—because when we’re all in the loop, great things happen!
